Charges
Rents for the cottages include gas, electricity, bed linen and towels/pool towels. There are additional charges for use of the pool after a complementary 1hr session for guests. pool sessions should be booked a minimum of 24 hours in advance.
Z-beds with bed linen are available subject to availability and space at a charge of £30.00 per bed, per night. cots, highchairs and stair gates can be provided, subject to availability, free of charge, Please book z-beds, cots, highchairs and stair gates before your arrival.
Care of property/security deposit
We request that you take all reasonable and proper care of the property, its furniture, fittings, effects, and facilities at The Moretons . We require a security deposit, pre-authorised against your credit card, as security against any damages/breakages that may occur within the property, garden, grounds and shared facilities. Cottages will be inspected within 7 days of your departure date at which point we will contact you if there are any problems; no monies will be taken from the card without the card owner’s permission. Please let us know about any breakages or damage so that we can arrange to replace/repair the item(s) in time for the arrival of the next guests. We don’t always charge for minor breakages if reported to us before departure. We reserve the right to enter any holiday let at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.
Cancellation
If you have to cancel your booking please contact us immediately and we will endeavour to re-let the property for the whole period of the booking. Balance payments are due a minimum of one month prior to the start of your booking; if the cancellation is within the month prior to your booking and the balance has not yet been paid you remain liable for the full cost of the booking. If we are able to re-let the cottage for the whole period, we will refund all monies less the non-refundable 20% deposit. Should we be unable to re-let the property, then all monies paid shall be retained by The Moretons. we recommended that you take out cancellation insurance, this can be
purchased during the booking process with
XCover.com.
If we should need to cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control, we will endeavour to offer suitable alternative accommodation.
Restrictions
We regret that we do not accept pets. All cottages are non-smoking. The number of persons occupying each cottage must not exceed the maximum number as stated in the brochure or on our website unless agreed by us. We reserve the right to refuse entry to the entire party if this condition is not observed.

All guests and their visitors must ensure that they take all reasonable steps to ensure their own safety and that of others whilst at The Moretons. We cannot accept responsibility for any injury or loss caused whilst in or around the property. All pool rules must be adhered to. Children must be supervised by an adult when using the play equipment. No candles are allowed in any of the properties, pool area or the grounds.
problems
If for any reason you should incur a problem during your stay at The Moretons, please bring the matter to our attention as soon as is reasonably possible in order that we can rectify the situation. The resident owner, Karen Webb, can be contacted on the mobile number provided in your welcome booklet (received on booking) for any out-of-hours emergencies.
